Woman jailed for sex offences against teenage boys.

A woman found guilty of sex offences against teenage boys has been jailed for four years.

Stephanie Embley, 35, of Pine Road, Cantley, South Yorkshire, was investigated after the parents of one of the boys raised concerns about her.

She admitted four charges of sexual activity with a child and was found guilty of a further two at Sheffield Crown Court on Friday.

She was jailed and given a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

That means she can have no contact, either directly or indirectly, with children under the age of 16, police said.

Speaking after the sentencing, Det Con Brian Thompson said: “Embley preyed on and took advantage of teenage boys for her own sexual gratification, which is a despicable crime.

“I am pleased that she has been found guilty of, and pleaded guilty to, these horrific offences and that she is behind bars where she poses no further risk to children.

“The victims and their families have been supportive of our investigation and I thank them for their patience and bravery throughout this inquiry.”

Woman jailed for child sexual offences

A 35-year-old woman has been convicted of numerous sexual offences against two teenage boys in Doncaster.

Stephanie Embley of Pine Road, Cantley, has been on trial at Sheffield Crown Court since Thursday 3 November charged with two counts of sexual activity with a child.

On Friday 4 November, she was found guilty of those crimes and sentenced to four years in prison.

A ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) was also imposed on Embley, meaning she can have no contact, either directly or indirectly, with children under the age of 16.

In an earlier hearing, Embley entered guilty pleas to four counts of sexual activity with a child.

The charges relate to two victims.

Police were contacted in May 2016 after a family member of one victim reported their concerns about Embley. She was arrested, remanded into custody and an investigation launched.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Brian Thompson said: “Embley preyed on and took advantage of teenage boys for her own sexual gratification, which is a despicable crime.

“I am pleased that she has been found guilty of, and pleaded guilty to, these horrific offences and that she is behind bars where she poses no further risk to children.

“The victims and their families have been supportive of our investigation and I thank them for their patience and bravery throughout this inquiry.

“I hope this positive result sends a strong message that we will relentlessly pursue any individual who chooses to sexually abuse children and that we will bring those offenders before the courts.”
