Sex offender from Scunthorpe jailed
A court heard he “routinely” abused a girl during a series of “disgusting” incidents
Christopher Parker, 30, of Holgate Road, Scunthorpe, who was jailed for eight years at Grimsby Crown Court.
A SERIAL sex offender who “routinely” abused a girl during a series of “disgusting” incidents has been jailed for eight years.
Christopher Parker, 30, of Holgate Road, Scunthorpe, admitted seven sexual offences, involving touching a girl intimately and causing her to engage in sexual activity.
Craig Lowe, prosecuting, told Grimsby Crown Court that Parker was involved in sexually abusing the girl on a number of occasions in the Scunthorpe area.
He admitted doing so on numerous occasions and accepted that it was wrong.
Parker was already serving an eight-year prison sentence imposed in April 2013 for sexual offences, including rape, against two other girls.
He was not due to be considered for release until at least April 2021. Graham Pressler, mitigating, said that Parker had shown a great deal of remorse for his “distorted” sexual behaviour.
He fully accepted that his behaviour had damaged the lives of his victims. He was not prone to violence. Judge Mark Bury said Parker had “routinely” abused the girl “in a disgusting way”.
Parker’s latest prison sentence means that his earliest date for possible parole is now October 2022.
He will have to register as a sex offender for life.
