PAEDOPHILES locked up for crimes committed in North Lincolnshire in 2016 were sentenced to a total of more than 24 years in prison.
Six people were featured in the Scunthorpe Telegraph during the year after being handed immediate custodial sentences.
They were all jailed after being caught by police and made to pay for their crimes, with sentences ranging from six months to 13 years behind bars.
Others were given suspended sentences or community orders after committing sexual offences involving children, although pictures are not always issued by police.
